NEWARK – He didn’t plan it. “It just grew.”
“I was a bit of a handful growing up,” Tom Shaw said. “As a matter of fact, I barely graduated high school. I didn’t care much for school at the time. One of my teachers, in front of the class, told me I wasn’t going to amount to anything. I had to do summer school after my senior year to receive a diploma. I didn’t have many dreams about my future until I became a husband and a father.”
Today, Shaw is co-owner (with wife Michele) and president of Shaw Mechanical Heating & Cooling in Newark.
